WELCOME TO HARBORFOLK

A little world,
built by its people.

Everything shares a real-world scale. Zoom close to watch your villagers work, or pull back to run the settlement.

  1. Gather. Select folk, then click Gather wood or right-click a tree. They chop, carry logs, and deposit them at the storehouse.
  2. Build. Once you have 24 wood, assign builders to the dock. Their work raises the planks and posts.
  3. Crew. Assign two villagers to board the boat. The people you choose become its rower and helmsman.
  4. Deliver. Send 20 supplies to the outpost across the inlet. Watch the crew row, arrive, unload, and return.

Open Plans for three optional adventures with saved progress and completion badges. Start with First crossing for a guided boat trip. Select scouts, guards, archers, or medics and press P, then right-click clear land for a patrol route. Press E, then right-click a villager, cart, or friendly unit to escort it. Stop clears patrol and escort duty. Open Build for cottages, farms, quarries, and Harbor Age buildings. Select villagers, then right-click a farm or quarry to work, an unfinished building to build, a tree to gather, a boat to board, or the cart to haul. Open Build, choose a building, and click an explored clear site; green footprints are valid, red footprints explain what blocks placement. Right-click or Escape cancels placement. The starter dock and workshop have fixed sites. Open Research for three ages and a prerequisite tree. Build a barracks to train defenders; select them and right-click land to move or a visible raider to attack. Cottages add population space for both villagers and defenders. Peaceful mode has manual raids; Adventure starts raids after a barracks is complete, and damaged buildings recover. Co-op & VR provides invitation codes for another browser and a headset view where supported. Click the cart, then right-click clear mainland ground to move it with a free villager. Nearby wood gatherers fill it log by log, up to 24 timber. Moved carts automatically travel home when full, unload, and return to their loading spot. Click the cart to switch automatic hauling off or stop it. Click the storehouse or a cart to build another for 20 wood, up to six; a villager must assemble it. Click Deliver timber to bring a partial load home; timber becomes spendable as it is unloaded. Haul by cart still carries supply crates to the dock. Build a Scout Lodge to train fast scouts with longer vision. Assign a trader to a Harbor Market to exchange food for wood or stone. In the Harbor Age, an Infirmary trains medics who heal nearby wounded friendly units. Settlement can make trees transparent without changing their size. I selects idle villagers. Ctrl + 1–4 saves a local selection group; 1–4 recalls it. Space pauses. G gathers. C hauls. X stops. Escape clears selection. Your settlement saves in this browser. Click the workshop to customize or upgrade it with 40 wood. Click the completed dock to recruit people and build a cutter. Choose that ship, then board three idle villagers: a rower, helmsman, and gunner. Explore north to uncover the raider. Right-click water to steer a selected ship; it fights automatically in range. Dark fog is unexplored; dim areas are remembered. The ♪ button mutes sound and music.
